I think it might have been the kiss of death for all its players, either that or they should have spent more time concentrating on their football instead of shownig off in adverts...
Ronaldinhio didnt even make the squad
Rooney did exactly what everyone expected and led the way for England, but unfortunately he led them the wrong way toward attrocity.
Drogba spent much of the time injured and struggled when he did play and his team were out in the first round
Canavaro led his Italy team out in the first round
Ribery might have looked like the best of a bad bunch with France, but that isnt saying much
Ronaldo was played out of the tournament by his own manager and struggled to get the ball let alone make an impact.
All they needed to add to there list was Torres and they would have got the full quota of World Cup dissapointments!
