I know i didn't give as much notice as usual this year - as you say uncertainty of the last game made it more difficult than normal to sort it out in advance. Then on last game when we went back to pub we discussed dates and last Saturday was the only date available without it getting too late. (on the basis the people there couldn't do certain other dates).
It is all going to be okay though as everyone will have lots of notice for the Pre-Season BBQ; which is officially going to be called the "NO EXCUSES BBQ."
The date has already been set as has the venue -
LOUIS YATES BACK GARDEN on 31st July.
Offical facebook page will be established soon.
Hopefully, attendance will be much improved as Louis has been building a BBQ especially for it; plus I like to see everyone at these things supporting their team mates.
A social team is a successful team!
It is like Jose Mourihno says, "players that get pissed together, play better together!"
