A lot of pundits expect an African team to be the "dark horse", but after watching a fair bit of the African Nation's Cup, I can't agree. Also, they don't have any climate advantage as the tournament takes place during the cool South African winter.

I think we should be looking to the lesser European teams for our surprise package. European Qualification is very tough, and anyone who gets through it needs to respected.

Therefore, my outside tips for a semi final place are:

Serbia
Denmark, and very outside tip
Switzerland
