Fair point on most of those Gaz. Santa Cruz was in my first list but I then decided it wasn't his fault. City paid more for Tevez and Adebayor who were the big names so he never really had a chance. Same goes for Ryan Babel really not given a chance.
JT has been super sh1t and spent much of his time desperately grabbing his man and going to ground in an attempt to cover up for his increasing apparent lack of pace (much like a certain scouse Liverpool defender who I wont mention at risk of upsetting Pete). It is a tad concerning that Terry, Lescott & Upson are all on this list given that they were all stitched on for a place on the plane at the start of the season.
As for Owen I take both Gaz and Robs points, but for me Owen still makes the team. I seriously thoght at the start of the season (even before united signed him as Dave will testify) that Owen could go to united and be the next Solskjaer with a shed load of goals despite a cameo role, then take that too the World cup and do the same role. Instead he has had a couple of decent performances as mentioned, plus the Carling cup finalbefore the pitch saw him off, but too often in the early part of the season he came off the bench and didn't deliver. As a result I doubt very much tat he had done anywhere near enough to be Englands joker in the pack before injury made sure he couldn't, hence for me he has under achieved more than most.
PS Bendtnar I think is a bit harsh, for he seems to put the effort in but just isn't all that good.
