It is a hell of a lot bigger than any we have played on - 90 meters by 60 meters.
It is perfectly flat and comparable to Bolton County's top pitch on that account.
They are currently building new changing facilities that should be ready for new season.
There are barriers around the pitch!
It has good drainage installed (so I have been informed) and the guy that looks after it assures me that there is very little chance of us having a game called off due to poor weather!
The only downside I can see at the moment is that the ground is quite hard at present, but hopefully by the time the season starts the grass will have bedded in a bit.
We will have no excuses for not playing football next season though!!!
There is also a new pub nearby  
I can't wait!!!
They also have a floodlit astroturf pitch for training on next to the pitch if we want to use it next season - it is ideal for 6/7 aside and quite a bit cheaper than Middlebrook, but I guess it will be up to you Manchester boys in the end ( i.e. if you feel it is a bit far to travel). I'd like to train on it because it would help make the area feel more like home!
